Investigating the Conventions of Front Covers, Contents Page & Feature Pages

I studied what is needed to make a music magazine front cover attractive, and the conventions that make it profitable.

 

 The use if promotions and other assential convention make any magazine including music magazines look relistic. To make my magazine look like it would be avalible to in the market, these convetions must be present.

Then I looked at what makes a sucessful contents page.

To make my magazine look as professional as possible I must make sure my contents follows and includes these conventions.


I then looked at various feature pages


First was Kerrang

 

Then I looked at Mixmag as it is a differnt gerne, and while Kerrang focuses on the music Mixmag also is subject to fashion and glamour.

To make my magazine feture sucessfully I must comprehend what my magazine ideologies are. I must then portray that in a way of what is fitting with my chosen genre (pop.)
